PIN TRADING! With every championship and special baseball tournament comes the opportunity to trade pins with other teams attending. Pin trading has become a tournament ritual for the Triple Crown Summer Nationals. What is special about our tournament is the opportunity for clubs to trade pins with more than just their own age group. Pin trading is scheduled for opening ceremonies but can happen at any time during the tournament including the skills contest, and the banner contest. In order for teams to collect as many pins as possible, we will be keeping a live list of the teams that plan on participating at this years event. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to let me know if your club plans to join in the fun!! The participating teams will be listed under "Event Updates" on the tournament website. I will also ask each team that is trading pins to donate one to the tournament. In 2010 we began the process of building a display of all the teams that attend the Summer Nationals and would love to add your teams pin to the collection. The display will be carried forward from year to year. Pin trading is designed for ages 8U-13U but not limited to those age groups.
