NEW for 2023: FOUR high quality professionally run tournament events in the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We welcome all of our returning and potentially new customers to Triple Crown Baseball. We take pride in our 40-year history of running high quality tournaments across the country. Our goal is to create an amazing experience, competitive and professionally run tournaments in one of the top family vacation destinations in the country.
This event typically draws teams from more than 25 states. Games are played at a state-of-the-art turf facility, Grand Park, as well as natural grass facilities and local high schools. We bring in a well-schooled professional staff from across the country and internationally to run this high-profile event. This is a stay to play event. Please realize this allows us to book high quality municipal fields, keep our price points competitive, while offering competition from across the globe.

Event Format:
10U-13U: 5-Game minimum format, 4 pool play games into two single elimination brackets. Championship and a Consolation Bracket. Every team will compete for a championship in bracket play.
14U: 5-Game format, Super 64 bracket format. Every team will compete for a championship in bracket play.
15U: 5-Game format. Three pool play games into a double - elimination in bracket play. Every team will compete for a championship in bracket play.
Upper-class Wood bat: (2023 grads and younger) 4-game format, pool play with single elimination bracket play.

-Live Streaming is offered for all games played at Grand Park
-Teams are provided one dozen baseballs to start the tournament, teams must provide all game balls. -Additional balls may be purchased at the event.

Included this year in the 10u - 13u summer nationals tournament package is Opening Ceremonies and Skills Competition! Keynote speaker former New York Yankees legend Bobby Richardson will address teams prior to the skills competition.
PIN TRADING! 10U thru 13U Only: With every championship and special baseball tournament comes the opportunity to trade pins with other teams attending. Pin trading has become a tournament ritual for the Triple Crown Summer Nationals. What is special about our tournament is the opportunity for clubs to trade pins with more than just their own age group. Pin trading is scheduled for opening ceremonies but can happen at any time during the tournament including the skills contest.

SKILLS CHALLENGE
TEAM SKILLS CHALLENGE: (For 10U -13U) The challenges will be: HR Contest, Accuracy Throw, Timed home to first, & Bat Exit Speed (off tee). Read below for details on each competition. * NEW IN 2023! The skills competition is INCLUDED in your tournament package. There is no additional cost to participate in skills. Our team will send out an RSVP form prior to the event to confirm your participation. *Each player on the roster must participate if possible. There will also be 1 Over-all Team Winner, which is given to the team that has the highest number of points over-all for all events. (Subject to change due to Pandemic Protocols) The Skills Challenges and Opening Ceremonies will take place at Grand Park. Each team that signs up will receive a skills challenge time slot. This is used to minimize wait time for teams. You will be assigned a time slot once all teams in your age group have registered. (Space is limited) PLEASE make sure players are warmed up before participating in a skills challenge.

*3 players per team are allowed to participate. *Participants will be given 6 pitches. EACH TEAM MUST supply their own pitcher & catcher. All home run balls must be fair to be counted. Plate umpire will judge all balls. The highest total individual score will determine the individual winner. The highest combined team score will determine the team winner. Ties are broken based on the number of Home Runs hit on the 1st pitch to each individual batter(s).
ACCURACY THROW CHALLENGE:
*3 players per team are allowed to participate. *Participants will be given 4 total throws at 2 different targets. * Participants must stay within marked boundary. Failure to do so will result in the disqualification of that throw. Station 1 - (4 Throws) 60 ft. to target -3 points-no bounce to the net -2 points-no bounce to anywhere on the target -1 point-bounce to the net or the target Station 2 – (4 Throws) 100 ft. to target -5 points-no bounce to the net -2 points-no bounce to anywhere on the target -1 point-bounce to the net or the target The highest total individual score will determine the individual winner. The highest combined team score will determine the team winner.
TIMED HOME TO 1ST CHALLENGE:

REFUND POLICY
A 20% non-refundable administration fee will be charged on all registrations.
There are no refunds or transfers if brackets have been posted, your age division is SOLD OUT or if a team cancels 30 or fewer days prior to the start of the event.
Otherwise, if a team cancels up to 60 days prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Baseball headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 50% fee.
Lastly, if a team cancels 61 or more days prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Baseball headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 20% administration fee.
If an age division does not make you will be entitled to a full refund.
Act of God Refund Policy
If an event is lost due to weather or any Act of God (i.e. COVID-19), the entry fee will be refunded via check minus the 20% administration fee.
If one game is played you will receive 50% of entry fee. If two or more games are played there is no refund.
There are no refunds or transfers if brackets have been posted, your age division is SOLD OUT or if a team cancels 30 or fewer days prior to the start of the event.
Otherwise, if a team cancels up to 60 days prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Baseball headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 50% fee.
Lastly, if a team cancels 61 or more days prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Baseball headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 20% administration fee.
If an age division does not make you will be entitled to a full refund.
Act of God Refund Policy
If an event is lost due to weather or any Act of God (i.e. COVID-19), the entry fee will be refunded via check minus the 20% administration fee.
If one game is played you will receive 50% of entry fee. If two or more games are played there is no refund.
