Triple Crown Baseball is excited to announce our newest Summer Nationals event and encourage your program to check out our family-friendly championship experience, the 2024 Southwest Summer Nationals.
We’ll be playing in one of the true hotbeds of the sport — Houston, TX — and bring together Division 2 and 3 teams to ensure squads with similar profiles will take their spot in a true double-elimination bracket format. We want your team to have a shot at the top of the podium from the first pitch to the last out!
Festivities start Wednesday with an optional day pass to the premier waterpark in the region – Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashdown. The private section at Six Flags will hold our festival, parade of teams and a meal with all attending teams. Trade pins, play mini games, interact with baseball families from across the country and enjoy a top tier waterpark to kick off this event.

- D2 and D3 teams only. The intention is to split D2 and D3 into separate divisions. Divisions may be combined based off of team numbers

- 2 pool play games into a true double elimination bracket
- Multiple Brackets may be used for larger divisions

Team Rosters:
A team roster must completed online with all authorized electronic signatures and must be turned in at team check-in. Copies of your player's birth certificates must be present at time of check-in and must be with the team during all tournament play.

All teams need to be prepared to play Thursday at 8am
Coaches will check in with a Triple Crown Representative at your complex prior to the first game. This is also where you will receive your one dozen baseballs

Double Elimination Bracket play begins 8am-10pm
No teams will be eliminated on Thursday
Saturday, June 29th
Championship Day! Bracket play will conclude with the crowning of Champions

Our parade of teams and opening day activities will take place at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashdown in Spring. We have the private event area rented out and will have our parade of teams on the stage. Teams will also have pin trading, a variety of mini games, single serve burger bar and soft drinks, and access to private bathrooms and changing rooms. This is a great time to converge with baseball families from across the country and enjoy a top notch waterpark to kick off this amazing event.
There is an added fee for attending. Teams can purchase a 12 pack of tickets for $500 or individually for $45. Tickets must be purchased at least 21 days in advance. Any admission after the 21 day cutoff will be at full general admission price of $59.99 and you will not have access to our private event area and it does not include any food.
Sunday Family Day:
No baseball on Sunday. This is a great time to spend time exploring America's fourth largest city and all the amazing things to do in Houston. It's a perfect time to purchase your tickets to the NASA Space Museum! Click the logo below under "Event Partners" to be directed to our exclusive discount link for Triple Crown Sports! Experience one of the coolest museums in the country

RULES
Southwest Summer Nationals will follow the same set of rules we our other Texas Baseball Events under. The link to the full rules are below.

REFUND POLICY
A 20% non-refundable administration fee will be charged on all registrations.
There are no refunds or transfers if brackets have been posted, your age division is SOLD OUT or if a team cancels 30 or fewer days prior to the start of the event.
Otherwise, if a team cancels up to 60 days prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Baseball headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 50% fee.
Lastly, if a team cancels 61 or more days prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Baseball headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 20% administration fee.
If an age division does not make you will be entitled to a full refund.
Act of God Refund Policy
If an event is lost due to weather or any Act of God (i.e. COVID-19), the entry fee will be refunded via check minus the 20% administration fee.
If one game is played you will receive 50% of entry fee. If two or more games are played there is no refund.

CAN MY TEAM ENTER D2/D3?
Triple Crown is not a sanctioning body. Therefore we do not inherently classify teams based off of D1, D2, and D3 status (Similar to Major, AAA, AA in other sanctioning bodies). If your team is registered D1 or Majors in a Nationals sanctioning body like Perfect Game, USSSA, or NCS, then you will be considered a D1 team. Only teams registered D2, D3, AAA, or AA or below in a National Governing body is eligible. If your team is not registered with any affiliated sanctioning body and you're not a National team put together for this tournament then you are eligible to register.
If you are classified as D1/Majors - you can still enter! Teams are 100% eligible to play up an age group to "reclassify" as D2/D3
