America’s favorite pastime teams up with the city of Myrtle Beach for the 15th year of the Triple Crown Baseball Summer Nationals on July 15 through August 3.
This event routinely draws teams from more than 25 states and has hosted international teams from Venezuela and Puerto Rico. Games are played on the state-of-the-art all-turf baseball facility, Grand Park, as well as natural grass facilities, and local high schools. There are also games played at Coastal Carolina University and Myrtle Beach Pelicans Ballpark. In 2018, two separate events will be offered giving teams more options: The Main Event – Finish your season in a true national championship, flavored by a 5-game guarantee and unique brackets that keep you in the right competitive mix. Opening ceremonies, skills competition, swag bags and15u-18u showcase/scouting opportunities; one of Triple Crown’s most trusted and memorable events. Opening ceremonies for The Main Event will return to TicketReturn.Com Field, home of the 2016 minor league champs, Myrtle Beach Pelicans. From great vendors to pin trading to skills competitions to good food and music, it’s guaranteed to be a memorable experience for everyone involved. Be one of the first 36 teams to register and you’ll be invited to kick off the week’s competition at the Team Skills Challenge. This special event consists of four challenges: bunting, throwing accuracy, timed home to first run, and bat exit speed. The Sequel – In the same beautiful setting, play in a 4-game guarantee regional championship with a reduced entry fee. The double-elimination bracket gives you more to play for; families will be engaged off the field with all the oceanside fun to be found in Myrtle Beach.
